Product-wise Reviews Listing

Overview

The Product-wise Reviews Listing in Rivyo helps you review and manage feedback per product. Instead of scanning one long list of reviews for your entire store, this view groups reviews by product so you can quickly: identify best-performing items, spot products that need attention, and take action on reviews in context.

Where to find it

Go to Rivyo → Reviews → Products

What you can do from this section

  • See each product’s average rating and review counts at a glance
  • Open a product to view and moderate its reviews
  • Enable/disable review requests for a specific product (if available in your plan/settings)
  • Generate a product review QR code (so customers can leave a review quickly)
  • Set limits related to reviews for a product (for example, restrictions configured in your Rivyo settings)
  • Track which products have published vs unpublished reviews
Use the Products view as a weekly check-in: prioritize products with high traffic but low review counts, and products with a rising number of unpublished reviews.

How Product-wise Reviews work

The Products list shows all products in your store along with key review information for each one. This helps you quickly find products that:

  • have strong ratings and could be highlighted in marketing
  • have low review volume and may need review requests enabled
  • have reviews waiting for moderation

What you’ll see in each product row

  • Product title

    The name of the product.

  • Average rating

The overall rating calculated from the reviews submitted for that product.

  • Published reviews

Reviews currently visible on your storefront.

  • Unpublished reviews

Reviews that are hidden or pending moderation (not visible on your storefront).

The exact columns and available actions can vary depending on your Rivyo version and enabled features, but the workflow stays the same: pick a product, then manage reviews for that product.

View reviews for a specific product

To open and manage reviews for a single product, use the Actions menu from the Products list.

Go to Rivyo → Reviews → Products. Locate the product you want to review in the list (scroll or use any available search/filter options). Click the Actions menu () for that product. Select View Reviews to open the product’s review page.

Understand the Product Review Details page

When you open a product’s review page, Rivyo shows both a summary and the individual reviews—so you can understand sentiment quickly and take action.

Review insights you may see

  • Average product rating
  • Rating breakdown (1–5 stars)
  • Customer media (images and videos submitted with reviews, if any)
  • All reviews submitted for that product

What each review typically includes

  • Status (Published/Unpublished)
  • Date the review was submitted
  • Title and review content (if provided)
  • Customer name (as submitted)
  • Rating (stars)
  • Source (where the review came from, if shown)
If a review includes photos or videos, check media quality before publishing—especially for branded products where packaging and labeling matter.

Moderate and manage individual reviews

You can moderate reviews directly from the product’s review page. This helps you keep your storefront trustworthy and ensure reviews meet your store’s guidelines.

Common actions (from the review’s Actions menu)

  • Publish / Unpublish

Show or hide a review on your storefront.

  • Pin

Keep an important review at the top of the list (helpful for standout reviews).

  • Edit

Adjust review text fields if your workflow allows it (for example, removing personal information or fixing obvious formatting issues).

If you edit customer-submitted content, keep changes minimal and consistent with your review policy. Avoid changing the meaning of the customer’s feedback.

Product-level review tools (Requests, QR codes, Limits)

From the Rivyo → Reviews → Products list, the Actions menu may also include product-level tools that help you collect and manage reviews more effectively.

If review requests are available in your setup, you can turn them on or off for individual products from the product’s Actions menu. This is useful when:

  • a product is discontinued or temporarily unavailable
  • you want to pause requests during a packaging/quality change
  • you only want to collect reviews for selected products
Consider enabling requests first for high-volume products—more orders usually means faster review growth.

A review QR code lets customers open the product review form by scanning with their phone camera. This works well for in-store pickups, inserts, and post-purchase cards.

Typical workflow:

  • Open the product’s Actions menu
  • Select the QR code option (name may vary)
  • Download or copy the QR code for printing or sharing
Place the QR code near a clear call-to-action like “Scan to leave a review” so customers know what it’s for.

If your Rivyo settings include product-level limits, you can configure them from the product’s Actions menu. Limits help you control how reviews are collected and displayed (based on what your store needs).

After changing limits, double-check the product’s review display on your storefront to ensure it matches your intended customer experience.

Best practices

  • Review unpublished items regularly to keep your storefront up to date and avoid moderation backlogs.
  • Pin 1–3 high-quality reviews (clear details, photos, helpful context) for your best-selling products.
  • Watch for patterns in low ratings on a specific product—issues like sizing, materials, or instructions often repeat.

Troubleshooting (quick checks)

Unpublished reviews are hidden by design. Open the product’s review page and publish the reviews you want displayed.

Open View Reviews for the product and check whether reviews are unpublished, filtered, or pinned. If you use storefront widgets, confirm the widget is enabled and placed correctly in your theme.

Those options may depend on your enabled features, plan, or settings. If the option isn’t in the product Actions menu, it may be managed from a different Rivyo settings area.
