Collect Reviews via Link & QR Code
Overview
Rivyo lets you collect customer reviews using a shareable link or a QR code. Customers can leave a review without logging in, which makes it easier to get more feedback from more places.
Customers can simply:
- Scan a QR code
- Click a review link
- Search for a product (if needed)
- Submit a review in seconds
This is especially useful for collecting reviews through:
- SMS
- Invoices and receipts
- Packaging inserts
- In-store displays
Where to find it: Rivyo → Reviews → Collect Reviews → QR Code
Types of Review QR Codes
Rivyo provides two QR codes, depending on whether you want product reviews or store-level feedback.
1) All Products Review QR Code
Use this QR code when you want one single code that works for every product in your store.
When customers scan the code, they’ll be taken to a page where they can:
- Search for a product
- Select the correct product
- Write and submit their review
Rivyo → Reviews → Collect Reviews → QR Code.
If you want the easiest “one-size-fits-all” setup for packaging inserts or in-store signage, use the All Products Review QR Code so you don’t need different codes for different items.
You can also copy the shareable link shown with this QR code and send it directly to customers (no QR scan required).
2) Store Review QR Code
Use this QR code when you want customers to review their overall store experience (instead of a specific product).
This is helpful for collecting feedback about:
- Customer service
- Shipping experience
- Overall satisfaction
Rivyo → Reviews → Collect Reviews → QR Code.
The Store Review QR Code is best when you want feedback on the shopping experience. For item-specific feedback (quality, sizing, usage), use the All Products Review QR Code instead.
Using the Shareable Review Link
Each QR code includes a shareable link. This is perfect when you want to ask for a review in a message where customers can simply tap and submit.
Ways to share the link
- Email campaigns (post-purchase or reorder reminders)
- SMS messages
- WhatsApp messages
- Customer support conversations
- Post-purchase follow-ups (manual or automated)
For the best response rate, send the link when the customer is most likely to have tried the product—commonly a few days after delivery.
Where to Use Review QR Codes
QR codes work best in physical touchpoints—anywhere a customer can scan quickly without typing a URL.
Recommended placements
- Packaging inserts (thank-you cards, “How was your order?” cards)
- Receipts and invoices (printed or PDF)
- Product packaging labels (especially for repeat purchases)
- In-store signage (checkout counter, product display stand)
- Delivery bags/boxes (outside label or inside insert)
Make sure your QR code is printed clearly and large enough to scan. Avoid placing it on glossy surfaces where reflections can prevent scanning.
Choosing the Right Option
Use All Products Review QR Code. Customers can search and select the product before submitting their review.
Use the Store Review QR Code to collect overall experience feedback.
Use a QR code for printed materials (in-store, packaging, receipts). Use the shareable link for digital messages (email, SMS, WhatsApp, support chat).
